The UFC has announced today the planned expansion of the UFC Gym franchise into the country of Japan.
The announcement comes just three weeks after UFC announced a similar expansion in Singapore, with a total of 15 UFC Gyms planned there. There are currently approximately 150 UFC Gyms across the globe in the Philippines, Vietnam, India, Australia, the US, Canada, Mexico, Chile, England, Ireland, Oman, the UAE, and Bahrain.
The UFC Gyms follow specific courses and criteria developed through UFC evaluated programs, systems and techniques. In addition to MMA, a range of functional fitness classes are offered. The franchise aims to be inclusive of all ages and promote a healthy lifestyle.
As it is a franchise, anyone interested in the fitness business has the opportunity to own and operate a UFC Gym. As the franchise expands into Japan, it will be interesting to see if any current gym owners or teams avail of the opportunity to become branded. Enquires can be made at UFCGymFranchise.com.
